  • 2018 Outstanding Technical Panel of the IEEE AESS society in 2018. Awarded by the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society to the “Navigation Systems Panel”.
  • 2018 Best Paper in Track Award at the IEEE/ION Position Location and Navigation Symposium (PLANS), April 23-26, Monterey CA, USA, for our work on “On-line Model Learning for Adaptive GNSS Ionospheric Scintillation Estimation and Mitigation”.
  • 2017 Best Session Poster Award at the 6th ESA International Colloquium on Scientific and Fundamental Aspects of GNSS / Galileo, 25-27 October 2017, Valencia, Spain, for our work “Challenges of Using Low-Cost GNSS Receivers for Ionospheric Scintillation Monitoring”.
  • 2016 Early Achievement Award, the Institute of Navigation. For “mathematically profound contributions to the design of advanced navigation receivers and for efforts in disseminating GNSS technology.” The award is given to recognize an individual early in his or her career who has made an outstanding achievement in the art and science of navigation.
  • 2016 Best Presentation Award at ION GNSS+ 2016, Accelerating GNSS Software Receivers, Portland, Oregon, on Sept 12-16.
  • 2014 Duran Farell Award for Technological Research, UPC and Gas Natural Fenosa, for outstanding scientific and technical results in advanced GNSS receiver design. The Duran Farell Award for Technological Research aims to encourage research excellence through the recognition of the quality of research conducted in the field of technology over the past three years. The prize is biannual.
  • 2014 EURASIP Best PhD Thesis Award 2014, European Signal Processing Association. The selection process is based on the evaluation of the impact of the theses, their subsequent journal and conference publications and related citations received, and on the review reports of the independent reviewers.
